GOOD THINGS HAPPEN

BY CANDLELIGHT

Welcome to our website! Lumière Leslie Candles is a Wife (Kaitlyn) and Husband (Dwayne) owned and home-operated business. We specialize in soy wax candles that are non-toxic and clean burning. Our candles come in a wide array of scents, all packed into our simple yet elegant 7oz glass jars, perfect for any décor.

We got the idea to start our own business shortly after we got married in February 2021. We always had a hard time finding candles that didn't give us headaches or make us feel nauseous, so the idea behind Lumière Leslie Candles was to create a candle that is packed with just enough fragrance to add to your home without being overwhelming. This is what makes our candles unique (and our customers love it!). We love having a beautiful aroma in the house that is subtle and comforting, yet not super overpowering.

Every candle is handmade and hand-poured with love in small batches at our lovely home in Port Coquitlam. ♡

WHY SOY WAX?

Soy wax is a natural by-product of soybeans made from environmentally friendly, renewable resources; whereas classic paraffin wax is made from petroleum and is non-renewable. Not only are there “green” advantages to choosing soy wax over a different type of candle wax, but soy wax also burns slower than paraffin wax, meaning they will burn up to 50% longer & slower than most other waxes, and allows for a higher fragrance load. While all candles emit some black soot while burning, candles made from soy wax burns cleaner and results in less soot. Another reason we choose soy wax when it comes to candles is the fact that soy wax is an excellent fragrance carrier that does not require chemical amplifiers. The result is a well-balanced true to scent candle.

In our opinion, soy wax is the most luxurious, safe, and eco-friendly option.

We wanted to use the best wax, and create clean burning candles you can feel safe bringing into your home, and we feel soy does just that. ♡
